Detail instructions for each race follow:

5K Race instructions

The 5k race will consist of a 3k loop around Professor’s Lake followed by a 2k loop through the residential area. Runners will first complete a 3k loop counter clockwise around the lake. After completing that loop, runners will make a right hand turn and proceed onto a trail to begin their second loop. Runners will follow the trail then proceed westbound along North Park Drive. Prior to reaching Bramalea Rd., runners turn right onto a pathway this will lead them back to the Professor’s Lake path. Volunteers will be present to direct runners. Runners proceed again along Professor’s Lake path back towards the trail. Upon entering the trail for the second time, runners will need to keep to their left to make the turn towards the finish line.

10K Race instructions

The 10k race will consist of three 3.3 k loops around Professor’s Lake. Upon completing their third loop, runners will be directed towards the finish line. It will be the runner’s responsibility to keep track of their number of completed loops.
